Leather Colour Chart & Info

Here we will go more in depth into our range of colours that we offer. Leather is a natural material that has unique markings, textures and tones, this means each design we create will be different but this one of a kind finish gives your item its special touch!

HAND DYED -

We have two types of hand dyed colours, both of these we dye by hand on to our natural pale cream veg tan leather, the reverse suede side of these items (straps and bag interiors for example) remain the natural cream colour whilst the top layer takes on the beautful pop of colour.

  1. Oil Based Dye
  2. Acrylic Based Dye

Oil Based Dye

Blue

Red

Black

Unnatural Green

Golden Yellow

Conker Brown

Oil Based Dye

This dye fully soaks into the leather and accentuates the natural patina of the hide, showing its beautiful curves, creases and markings in the depths of colour varying from lighter and darker hues. This dye very gradually lightens over the first few weeks from production so you may see some slight changes reveal the true finished colour. We then use a satin finish that helps protect the colour and against scratches and light rainfall. Some very slight colour transfer may occur onto lighter coloured materials over prolonged periods of use.

Acrylic Based Dye

Sunshine Yellow

Forest Green

Pink

Acrylic Based Dye

This dye acts as more of a top layer over the leather, giving it a slightly more 'plastic' finish as would be expected with any acrylic paint. We then use a satin finish that helps protect the colour and against scratches and light rainfall.
