• This leather is slightly defective but too beautiful a colour not to use! The top layer has a very thin clear film over it which when stressed can create a bubble effect and cracked patches with black underneath - SEE PHOTOS FOR EXAMPLES OF THIS EFFECT - This may peel back over time if the leather is manipulated a lot.
• Each tray may have different slight stress areas of film, particularly around the riveted corners.
• To reduce the amount of bubble effect areas keep the tray level and reduce the amount it is moved around

Leather ages naturally over time, this is its natural patina, ingrained with all your memories and travels together. Try to avoid getting your leather wet, if it does, wipe clean with a cloth and allow to dry out naturally. If your leather begins to crack techniques such as using leather moisturisers or oils can help soften it. Be sure to test any product on a small area not easily visable as some may cause slight discolouring of your leather.
